Where can I find radios that can connect to your mp3 player? Not for a car but for home use, like I want one in the bathroom so I can listen to it while I am getting ready for work.
K Mart has a sale on a great speaker system for only 19.99. I cant remember what the name of it is but it works by batteries or plug into a wall outlet. I bought myself one and my husband one for work. I bought another one just to have for an extra Christmas gift if needed. You can’t beat the price and it is in the sale paper this week on sale until Sunday. I purchased mine when it was regular priced at 49.99 and my husbands when it went on sale this week. You can’t beat the price anywhere. It gives out great sound and I could not be happier with mine. It is not a radio though just a speaker system but I love it. Easy to carry from room to room, and I use mine for the same purpose you stated. when I am getting ready for work. Love it.
My radio doesn’t receive a signal from my radio transmitter, because it transmits at 900 MHZ; which is too high for a radio to receive.
I know i can just buy one, but this one has 300 ft range, and I LIKE MODIFYING THINGS myself.
SO, PLEASE HELP ME. AND MAKE IT SIMPLE.
Websites with tutorials are appreciated.
What are you trying to do? Control an R/C car, boat or airplane? What is this transmitter? 900 MHz sounds like a public service two-way radio. However, these radios have more than a 300 ft range. A 300 ft range would sound like a R/C transmitter but there aren’t any that work at 900 MHz.
I will assume you are are trying to control an R/C thing-a-ma-jig. R/C receivers work at 27 MHz, 72 MHz, 75 MHz or 2.4 GHz. If your R/C transmitter works in the same band as your receiver, you can change crystals in both the receiver and/or transmitter, fairly easy.
If you like modifying radio gear, get an Amateur Radio (Ham) License. You are allowed to build, experiment with and modify all the radio gear you want! Hams also use their gear for R/C.
I have a 96 dodge ram.
My radio doesn’t work well. I tune in to the FM stations and nothing happens. There’s no sound at all, only static. The AM stations work well, no problem at all.
So what could be the problem?
Do I need a new antenna or is the wiring bad?
my dad had a 95 ram and he had the same thing happen
we had to get a new radio
i called the dodge dealer in town
he said it was the crystals in the raido went bad
the dodge dealer said they was having
problems with dodge radio
so yes you need a new radio
I’m listening to a streaming radio station, which plays through my iTunes. Can I record it, so I can burn it to disc?
Thanks
Yes. You can use Audacity freeware program. Only set " record Master". That’s it.
I like to listen to music radio stations in the internet . can you suggest a good one ? It should be free ( Pop and Oldies ). Many thanks in advance.

I have internet and no TV so I’m trying to familiarize myself with online radio options.
This article lists several great sources, my personal fave is Accuradio because they have such a large music library:
