Zenith H724Z AM/FM Tube Radio Restoration and Sound

Audio is recorded off the air with a mic into computer sound card, tuning slowly across the FM and AM bands from low to high.

This is a 1950’s Zenith Tube radio. It is a Superheterodyne with two IF (intermediate frequency stage’s). It has 7 tube, an RF preamp tube, a oscillator/mixer tube, two IF amp tubes, limiter tube (for FM only), a discriminator/detector/preamp tube and Audio amp final.
