You know it’s funny … You know it’s funny, after I wrote my post I got to thinking and in terms of preference I certainly agree with you…the only people I could think of that compared were Elton John (who doesn’t write lyrics and is hence disqualified) and Paul Simon (who doesn’t have as many songs that I love as Dave does). So I essentially agree with you….I’m just very slow to say that one songwriter is “better” than another because that’s a dangerous attitude, you know? It’s all a matter of preference…
