No, it is an HD-28V … No, it is an HD-28V for sure. The DM3MD signature is much different than the HD-28V in a lot of ways and is a much better guitar. Want to know what the DM3MD is closest to? Your D-16GT. The bracing, neck joint, nut, and and saddle are all similar to your 16 Series. However, the DM3MD is a wonderful guitar and has better tone woods and cosmetics, but the HD-28V trumps it by a lot in terms of the overall package and tone.
