    @helltrackrider …
    @helltrackrider Like I said, they’re at are a low rate of 35%. We’ve had better economies with higher corporate tax rates. In the 60s it was 70%. During WWII it was 91%. That was to pay for the manufacturing boom that everyone says got us out of the great depression. All paid for by US taxpayers.

    You agree with many about the role of govt in an economy like the Austrian Business Cycle Theory where there’s no public involvement at all

    Also, be aware that corporations are legally individuals

  2. helltrackrider Says:

    Little do people …
    Little do people realize nor understand today that the Federal Government was not intended to be the size it is today nor be doing 90% of the it does today…why does our society not comprehend this?…Public Education…

    Where is the fairness in Public Education?….it is extremely impartial and bias towards the Government side…they decide what you learn based upon what there needs are

    Similar to the plantiff being the judge in a court room…not a snowballs chance in to learn

  3. helltrackrider Says:

    “..a low rate of …
    “..a low rate of 35%..”

    I must say…you just provided some great humor for me.

    On top of this 35%, the company also must pay for Social Security and Healthcare, amongst other taxes and intangables.

    Why should a Corporation be federally taxed? What representation do they get form the Fed, as the sole role of the Federal Government is to Protect Rights…and being that Rights are ONLY inherent in Individuals…think about it.

    Corporate tax should be 0%…but, we live in Socialism.

  4. brothermikefan Says:

    @helltrackrider Why …
    @helltrackrider Why is it that corporate taxes are at a low rate of 35% and the federal funds interest rate is at 0.25% yet your method doesn’t seem to be working either? I don’t think businessis are looking to hire anyone at this point. They’re looking for customers with cash in their wallets; even if it’s government cash.

  5. helltrackrider Says:

    how is that …
    how is that economic growth working?

    its not.

    only way to provide for economic growth is to relieve businesses of taxation so prices can reduce and employees can be hired…

    you cannot print money and call it economic growth…this deflates the value of every other note in existence; this can also be called a hidden tax or theft…ultimately, inflation will result, another hidden tax.

    Obama and the majority of Congress have no idea what they are doing and should be impeached

  6. lerock1000 Says:

    @WilhelmHelmut …
    @WilhelmHelmut Kinda true, but the reason for putting money in the pockets of the poor, is not to improve their lives, but to make them dependent,and remain dependent. The poor will not be poor again in 10 years, they will remain poor the entire time.

  7. lerock1000 Says:

    @SteffiHoni …
    @SteffiHoni Actually there is an American Socialist Party, however thats not what im talking about. whether Democrat or Republican, we will continue to vote people with socialist leanings until we lose more personal freedom and responsibility. official political association is not what im talking about. you should not make this a Republican- Democrat issue, its a freedom issue, which we are giving up regardless of political association.

  8. SteffiHoni Says:

    Lies, pure lies. …
    Lies, pure lies. Your hatred and ignorance are amazing and sad. Your writings sound like that of John Wilkes Booth.

  9. SteffiHoni Says:

    There is no …
    There is no socialist party in the United States.
    There is however, a party that represents corporate fascism and unbridled greed and corruption and furthering the loss of civil liberties and divisions, and the bigoted comments regarding Barney Frank prove that. Republicans are the party of NO and the party of hatred and fear, and Americans have rejected you, to the point where now less than 20% identify themselves with the Republican party. You will go the way of the Federalists and Whigs.

  10. brothermikefan Says:

    @brothermikefan I …
    @brothermikefan I know that comes to 103% but I was counting pregnant women.

  11. brothermikefan Says:

    @WilhelmHelmut …
    @WilhelmHelmut That’s kinda what the free market is about. Spending money on stupid shit.

    In this diffucult economic time, however, you have a valid point to make. Unlike the two previous stimulus packages which bascially gave everyone a $300 check, this one is directed toward creating specific jobs that are meant to maximize economic growth and toward making upgrades in our infrastructure to provide future savings for taxpayers.

  12. brothermikefan Says:

    @wandererprime Come …
    @wandererprime Come on. Low income families make up about 13% of the population. What about the other 90% of Americans who saw nearly 3 trillion dollars of imaginary wealth go up in smoke? Was that all because we helped three million low income families get houses or was it because 297 million Americans had the rug swept out beneath them?

  13. WilhelmHelmut Says:

    Even if obama does …
    Even if obama does manage to put money into the pockets of the “poor” they will just spend it on stupid like cars and tv’s and in a matter of 10 years they’ll be poor again…then in a hundred years you’ll have another dumbass like obama wanting to do the same thing.

  14. wandererprime Says:

    Incorrect. The …
    Incorrect. The current economic crisis is the result of the housing bubble and subprime mortgage crisis, which is 80% the fault of democrats. If you want to blame anything or anyone blame the Community Reinvestment Act and Barney Frank(Faggot) and his cohorts for not only be the catalyst, but being dishonest enough about that capital hill continued his destructive policies of forcing banks to give unreliable loans to low-income individuals whose income had given no indication of increasing.

  15. brothermikefan Says:

    @TheAntiLeft I …
    @TheAntiLeft I don’t think the founding fathers ever intended for us to have a great depression either

  16. brothermikefan Says:

    @brothermikefan The …
    @brothermikefan The vast majority of economists agree that one of the roles of any government is to maintain a proper distribution of wealth through taxes in order for an economic system to sustain itself in the long run. Anyone care to disagree?

  17. brothermikefan Says:

    @brothermikefan …
    @brothermikefan Forget about government taking from the rich and giving to the poor. What about the governtment allowing the “UPWARD” redistribution of wealth that has occured over the last decade or so? Right now the upper 1% of the population owns more wealth than the bottom 90% combined. The income gap in America is proportional to a third world country. Alan Greenpan called it a “very disturbing trend.”

  18. brothermikefan Says:

    @calebbarnett What …
    @calebbarnett What used to make America great is we used to put restraints on business. In the 60s the top tax rate was 70% and the economy was good. The average CEO to worker salary ratio was 24 to 1. Now the top tax rate is around 35%, we have no money for our budgets, record debt, a struggling middle class and the average CEO to worker salary ratio is 550 to 1. We’ve made the greatest country in the world for making profits but by cutting labor to maxinmize profits we’ve killed our customers.

  19. federalist29 Says:

    True but not funny.
    True but not funny.

  20. lerock1000 Says:

    HA,HA, America will …
    HA,HA, America will continue to vote socialists into office until government has control of every aspect of our lives. HA,HA!

  21. TheAntiLeft Says:

    No, maybe not, …
    No, maybe not, however, the Constitution can be & has been perverted from the original intent of the founding fathers.

    There is no shortage of evidence of the ACTUAL intent of the constitution by the philosophy expressed in their letters to one another.

    Redistribution of wealth = THEFT

    ” no matter what. “

  22. Shinimegami86 Says:

    If it passed, then …
    If it passed, then yes. It would. A part of the Constitution cannot be unconstitutional, no matter what.

  23. Shinimegami86 Says:

    This video …
    This video deliberately lies about what Obama was actually saying. He DID NOT SAY that the Supreme Court should have forced redistribution of wealth. He said that the civil rights movement shouldn’t have focused so much on the courts and should’ve focused more on getting Congress to pass laws to redistribute wealth. Agree with that or not, he never argued that the Supreme Court should have gone further than it did.

  24. dick062008 Says:

    One day, Barack …
    One day, Barack Obama will tell the truth. He will tell us that Russia did communism wrong and that he is going to do it correctly in the U.S. Lets hope Americans pull their heads from their rectums before it is too late.

  25. calebbarnett Says:

    If you can …
    If you can understand what this means, it is incredibly detrimental to our freedoms… What has made America the greatest nation in history IS that our government has had restraints placed on itself. We are free to make our lives what we will WITHOUT the goverment dictating what that is. Compare that to ANY nation where the people don’t have those freedoms. That is why millions of people risk their lives to experience OUR freedoms, and we are standing silently watching them erode away…
