I dont want to have to program the radios, just purchase and use. Is it better and easier/cheaper to get uhf or vhf ? Are marine radios good and easy to use? If you can please recommend a brand and model.
It really depends on your specific applications needs. But, generally speaking, FRS and GMRS radio is the latest easy to use handheld radio system and easy to find.
