How much bandwidth does streaming radio use?

I was told not to visit youtube at work because it uses too much bandwidth. but i have to have some type of music to stay happy and motivated.

Online radio won’t take that much bandwidth. it would be around 1 or 2 MB per minutes. but it depends on the quality of the radio. if you are using a Windows Pc, you can download any free bandwidth meter and check how much bandwidth it is taking. one such free bandwidth meter listed is

    Streaming radio uses about 5 times less bandwidth than youtube. It also depends on the quality.
